Welcome to London, a 2000 year old, modern, vibrant city.

There is so much to do, it can feel like you are spoiled for choice.  I am a London Blue Badge Guide, the highest tourist guiding qualification, so let me help you get the very best from your time here.

I provide coach, walking and museum & gallery tours, covering all aspects of life in London – from Kings and Queens to ordinary Londoners!

Explore the royal and political heart of London in the City of Westminster, see famous buildings like Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace and learn about their history and life today.

Westminster

You could also explore less well-known areas like the exclusive St James’s with its gentlemen’s clubs and eccentric traditions, discover the West End and Covent Garden (London’s entertainment district) or take a walk through the beautiful Royal Parks.

City of London from river

Visit the City of London, the birthplace of London and now London’s financial “square mile”.

Find out about the ancient livery companies, the Lord Mayor of London and walk on ancient Roman ruins where gladiators fought.

But the City isn’t just about history, the skyline has changed dramatically in the last 5 years.  Take a walking tour and see these new glass giants towering over ancient medieval churches and winding lanes!

Colourful Chelsea street

Or venture further out of central London to historic maritime Greenwich, the fast-changing Docklands, “museumland” in South Kensington, fashionable Notting Hill, the historic and vibrant East End, or take a walk along the river Thames to soak up the atmosphere of Shakespeare’s Bankside.  See my “A walk around…” and “Themed Tours” pages for more ideas of London’s different neighbourhoods and possible walking tours.

London has numerous world class museum and galleries which can be incorporated into an itinerary and I can pitch my tours to a variety of levels, from engaging children seeing something for the first time to the well-travelled culture-vulture.  Please see my “Museums and Galleries” page for more information.

No trip to London is complete without seeing inside some of its iconic landmarks such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey or further afield Hampton Court Palace.  Please see my “A visit to…” page for more ideas.

Please contact me for a bespoke itinerary and quote which can be tailor-made to your interests, or to book a private group tour (of one of my themed tours, neighbourhood walking tours or museum / gallery tours)
