Please include your name, contact information, preferred date for the tour, group size and if you are interested in a tailor-made tour or a private group tour (of one of my themed tours, neighbourhood walking tours or museum / gallery visits)

I will respond within 48 hours.


Rates (for tailor-made tours):


From 1 April 2020: my rates are £176 for a half day tour (up to 4 hours) and £288 for a full day tour (up to 9 hours)

FOR DIRECT CLIENTS: I charge a small supplement to contribute towards the time and costs incurred in communication and tour organisation.  

From 1 April 2020: my rates are £190 for a half day tour (up to 4 hours) and £305 for a full day tour (up to 9 hours)

*Half day morning tours should finish by 13:00.  Half day afternoon tours can start from 13:30 / 14:00.

*Tours should begin and end in central London, otherwise travel expenses and time will be charged

*Due to the coronavirus pandemic, and in line with other Blue Badge Tourist Guides, I am freezing my rates for next year.  This means that there will be no increase in my prices until 1 April 2022.  I hope this helps both direct clients and my travel trade partners to rearrange affected itineraries in confidence and without extra cost.

Longer tours

For extended days (more than 9 hours) I will quote separately.

I am happy to design extended itineraries (more than 2 days) for which I will provide detailed itinerary planning and assist with tickets.  In these circumstances I will charge a tour planning fee (usually 10-15% of my guiding fee).  

Private Group Tours

Private group tours (usually booked by British cultural, educational or social groups) last approx 2 hours and include my walking tours, themed tours and museum / gallery tours.  Cost £10 per person (concessions £9) with a minimum group size of 15 to make the tour viable and a maximum group size of 20 (museums/galleries) or 25 (walking tours)


Confirmation of the booking is by email, once dates and tour are mutually agreed

In the case of extended tours (more than 2 days), a non-refundable 20% deposit will normally be required to secure the booking.  If so, this will be confirmed via email.

Cancellation Charges:

Cancellation 10 days or less before the tour – 50% of agreed fee

Cancellation 4 days or less before the tour – the full fee is payable

Payment  (for direct clients)

I will invoice you 14 days before the tour.

Payment can be made by cash, cheque or securely via paypal 

For payments via paypal, I will send you an invoice and a secure payment request by email.  It is quick, easy and secure to respond (you do not need a paypal account)

Payment should be received in full 4 days before the tour (unless otherwise agreed)


Refunds to direct clients by Caroline will be made in line with my cancellation policy.  As of March 2020 paypal fees from the original transaction cannot be returned.
